
One of Fort Lewis College’s own, Tom Danielson, placed ninth in the world’s biggest bike race, the Tour de France, over the weekend. Tom, who rode for Team Garmin-Cervelo, placed 8 minutes, 15 seconds behind race winner Cadel Evans. His finish was the highest finish by an American rider.
As the top placing rider for Team Garmin-Cervelo, Tom helped the team place first in the overall team standings.
