2011-2012 Housing and Conference Services

Live-in position includes supervision of students and resident assistant staff, program development, academic support, administrative management and a demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and student development. BA or BS degree AND experience working with college students is REQUIRED. Previous collegiate residence hall experience preferred.

Residence Directors work as Conference Liaisons in the summer. Collateral assignments advising student groups and serving on campus and departmental committees are available as additional professional development experience. Residence Directors also have opportunities to work with departmental community service projects.

12-month position, $25,000-$26,500, furnished apartment, meal plan when dining services available, and full employee benefits package. No pets (except fish!) are allowed in Residence Director apartments. Ask us about our Domestic Partner Policy.

Resident Director positions for 2012-2013 have been filled.  The Residence Director search process for 2013-2014 will begin in January 2013.

Official college transcripts and a one-page statement about a challenging experience you have had working with college students (please discuss what you learned and how this influenced your approach in working with students) will be required of semi-finalists.
