Welcome to the Student Health Center

Our mission is to provide high quality medical and behavioral health care to Fort Lewis College students to help ensure their academic success and ability to participate fully in extra-curricular programs of their choosing.

The experienced professional staff of registered nurses, mid-level providers, and family physicians provides "one-stop shopping" for most student health needs, including laboratory and pharmacy services. 

The Student Health Center offers affordable and accessible health care services. We are located in the Miller Student Services Building next to the Records Office. To contact us, please call (970) 247-7355.

The Health Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

We will be closed during our lunch hour from 12 PM - 1 PM.

HEALTH CENTER SUMMER HOURS
BEGINNING MAY 1, 2013

Beginning May 1, 2013 the Student Health Center will be open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm with administrative services available by phone or email from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Beginning June 1, 2013 and through the rest of the summer sessions, the Student Health Center will be open Monday and Wednesday from 8 am - 4 pm with administrative services available by phone or email from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Need Health Insurance?

Fort Lewis College is pleased to offer a Student Health Insurance Plan designed specifically for FLC students.  Participation in the plan is voluntary.  All students are encouraged to carry health insurance while attending college.  The Plan for 2012-13 is provided by Summit America and underwritten by Nationwide Life Insurance Company.  There is a broad network of participating area physicians and medical facilities to meet your healthcare needs.  Dental and vision programs are optional.

Students can enroll in the health insurance plan, view the brochure, find a provider, or print a temporary ID card by visiting the Summit America web site. Once on the webpage, click on the bullet titled "Online Enrollment System" to purchase coverage and pay with a credit card.  If you'd prefer to pay with a check, print and complete the paper enrollment form per the directions included on the form.  Please read the "Effective and Termination Dates" in the brochure, which are different for athletes (Club and Intercollegiate) and non-athletes.
